Expert advice

Vic Sinclair, buyer for large electrical appliances for John LewisVic Sinclair, buyer for large electrical appliances for John Lewis, on what to consider before buying a new model: ‘A tumble dryer is a great way to speed up the laundry process, especially when it is wet outside and you can’t hang your washing out to dry, or if you simply don’t have the drying space. A tumble dryer also leaves your clothes and fabrics feeling soft to the touch.

‘There is an increasing interest in tumble dryers as they have become more economical to run, with higher-energy efficiency ratings, making them a more affordable choice.’
